Kunpeng Airlines Launches Services in China

On Saturday October 27, 2007, Kunpeng Airlines, Mesa's joint-venture with Shenzhen Airlines, officially launched scheduled domestic air services in China. The initial routes to be flown were revealed in a spectacular ceremony attended by Senior Executives of Mesa, Shenzhen and Kunpeng, along with Government and CAAC officials and invited guests. go! Celebrates Its 1,000,000th Passenger in Hawaii

On November 14, 2007 go!, Hawai'i's Low Fare Airline, flew its 1,000,000th passenger. The lucky customer, Queenie Ventura Dowsett of Waimea on the Big Island, was greeted by rising local golf star Tadd Fujikawa and the go! Team. To celebrate this milestone event, go! awarded Queenie 1,000,000 go!Miles and a $200 gift certificate to a restaurant of her choice. More.

Mesa's New CRJ-900 NextGen Enters Service for Delta Connection

On November 1, 2007 the first two CRJ-900 NextGen aircraft, operated by Freedom Airlines, entered service for Delta Connection. More.

   

Delta Connection and Freedom Accept New Aircraft

Pictured below is the Delta - Freedom acceptance team taking delivery of Delta's first CRJ-900 Next Generation aircraft, registered N600LR. The aircraft is the first of 14 purchased by Delta and scheduled for delivery between now and February 2009. These brand new aircraft, the first of which are to be based in JFK, will be operated for Delta Connection by Mesa Air Group's Freedom Airlines.

Kunpeng Airlines - First Aircraft in New Livery Unveiled

Mesa Air Group’s joint venture with Shenzhen Airlines, of China, marked another milestone on August 15, 2007 when Mesa Air Group Chairman & CEO, Jonathan Ornstein unveiled the airline’s first aircraft in Phoenix. The 50-seat CRJ-200 in striking red and gold livery will fly out of Phoenix on August 23,2007 and enter service on domestic routes in The Peoples Republic of China on September 16, 2007.More

Mesa signs Historic Deal with Shenzhen Airlines in Beijing

Beijing, Dec. 22, 2006

Mesa Air Group has signed a joint venture agreement with Shenzhen Airlines to create a new regional airline. The new airline is expected to begin operation within 12 months and have 20 50-seat regional jets flying prior to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. More
